Hey Guys!

I'm super excited to be sharing my results and thoughts on the new Not Your Mother's Curl Talk line. This line is designed to work on all curl types, and is exclusively available in Ulta stores. I must admit t I was pretty skeptical of this line at first but here's what I thought of the products:

Okay so this is a full product line that includes the following products:

- Curl Care Shampoo

- 3 in 1 conditioner

- Frizz Control Sculpting Gel

- Defining Cream

- Curl Activating Mousse

I started by cleansing with the curl care shampoo, this cleanser has a great light smell, and lathers nicely. This cleanser is sulfate and paraben free like the rest of the line. I loved that it worked through my tangled hair and even allowed me to lightly finger detangle my hair in prep for my next step.

I followed up with the 3-in-1 conditioner and let me tell you I was SKEPTICAL of a conditioner that claimed to be able to be used as a Co-wash, Conditioner, and Leave-in.... I was proven wrong. This conditioner was amazing, it reminds me of the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner that all us natural girls are obsessed with but better as it doesn't have tons of yucky filler ingredients. It has a TON of slip which really helped with detangling my hair in shower, and even after I rinsed it out I could still feel the benefits of the conditioner.

I opted to style with the defining cream, which was super creamy and moisturizing and followed by layering with the mousse. I reached for these products because I wanted to not go the easy route of using the gel, which is what I'd normally use. I used these to style my hair in a braid and curl and here are my results...

These results speak for themselves! Here's what I love about the products :

- The curl defining cream did a great job at adding moisture to my curls and preparing them for my style.

- The ingredients of these products include rice keratin, and amino-acids which aid in hydrating and protecting the curls. These hydration focused ingredients also aid in enhanced curl definition and less frizz.

- The curl mousse is alcohol free and isn't drying at all. The lightweight formula allowed me to have volume ( I love big hair) and defined curls.

I really enjoyed the entire line of products, but if I had to narrow it down I'd say my must haves are the 3-in-1 conditioner for it's multiple uses and the fact that it made my hair feel amazing. I'd also have to have the Curl defining cream in my arsenal of styling goodies, it's super thick and creamy and rich and leaves the hair in plump curls.
